Blanket for Hope was founded in April 2025 by Annie Miller, a breast cancer survivor who experienced firsthand the emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis. While Annie didn’t undergo chemotherapy herself, she was deeply moved by the stories of fellow survivors who described how something as simple as a warm blanket brought them comfort during their most difficult treatment days.
Inspired by their strength and touched by their words, Annie started Blanket for Hope – a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing soft, comforting blankets to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Each blanket serves as a symbol of care and encouragement, offering warmth on the outside and hope on the inside.
Our mission is simple but powerful: To wrap every cancer patient in warmth, comfort, and hope – one blanket at a time.
You can support our mission by donating new, soft blankets or making a monetary donation. Every blanket we deliver carries a message of support: You are not alone. You are seen. You are loved. You are stronger than you know.
What began as one survivor’s desire to uplift others has grown into a community driven movement of compassion. At Blanket for Hope, we believe a blanket is more than just fabric – it’s a hug, a connection, and a reminder that someone is cheering you on.
Together, we are Delivering hope, one blanket at a time.
